Finding Langston by Lesa Cline-Ransome
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
After the death of his mother, Langston and his father move to Chicago as part of the Great Migration from the South.
Often left alone, Langston discovers the library and develops a love of poetry which reminds him of his mother.
Beautiful story.
Excellent narration.
Loved it.

Review: Moxie
Moxie by Jennifer Mathieu
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Texas High School girls fight back against sexism, abuse, misogyny, and #metoo incidents.
Love a book about girls with spunk and “moxie.”
